You referenced something apparently attributed to me. But I don’t see where I wrote that.

But I’m with you. Redefining thuggishness as “etiquette” is just more lib wordsmithing.

She is quoting something from the article you posted and addressing that.

Because the portion being addressed is in quotes it may seem to be your comment, but it doesn’t include the preface of your name before the quote when actually quoting a person’s posted words.

Confusing, but no ill will by anyone involved, just formatting.

Etiquette is probably the wrong word of course but it’s part of the more encompassing.

What about manners? Do people who are taught manners shoot fireworks at passengers?

I think whoever chose that word misused it but that’s just my guess.

Etiquette is the correct word.

Right polite behavior in society. You are right.

Do you recall the meme where Foghorn Leghorn is putting dynamite under the dog and the caption is “we didn’t have to be told not to do this because we weren’t morons”?

People who shoot fireworks AT OTHERS may have problems besides a lack of manners.

Yeah, I kind of figured that, but I couldn’t even find it in the article. Still don’t.

Maybe I didn’t come across well in my previous post. I should have just asked outright where that was in the link.

I didn’t take it as ill will.

I agree with DMK’s sentiments. Fully.

It’s there, just a little hard to find. Took me awhile also.

I got what you were saying. Sometimes the formatting here is weird though. Such as when you reply and quote someone in a much quoted post and it attributes the reply to the wrong poster.

Thanks Guv. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@RTchoke was spot on with the explanation

Making this a mandatory class in schools would go a long way towards making this country a better place. A lot more practical than CRT.

In fact, CRT makes a lot of people downright nasty.

Some people.

No, all adherents. It’s a feature. Praxis is required.

One killed, three wounded.

Obviously there needs to be Hoodie Control!

What evidence suggests that the victims were innocent? Sounds like a turf war to me.

These days being black in a poorly run Democrat city may be the only excuse the street gangs need … some have even been told things like minors will not be charged with murder. So it’s possibly open season on those uppity honest people too.

It’s what the article says. I didn’t read anything about anyone shooting back?

All we have are some media reports to make judgments on what really happened.

It’s not a stretch to fall on multiple different conclusions here. And “turf war” is one of the reasonable judgments – especially given the location. And as Samm said: “Sounds like…” Not a hard and fast conclusion.

Regardless of all that, the incident is hyper-thuggery.

Not shooting back does not necessarily mean they were innocent. It’s pretty clear that they were specifically targeted. The hoods with the guns may have chosen their moment carefully.
