To be fair that doesn’t bother me all that much. One of my favorite presidents, Theodore Roosevelt, hosted boxing tournaments in the White House when he was in office. So there’s precedent for it.
He even participated in a few of them sense he was an amateur boxer after all. I would be tickled if comrade Trump climbed in the octagon but he ain’t that kind of dude.

After all hiring people from non traditional backgrounds for the sec def position isn’t unheard of. Robert McNamera was auto economist at ford motor company before JFK nominated him for the sec def position.
