That’s what you believe. I get that.

No…that is what the peer-reviewed studies determined. My belief has nothing to do with facts.

Nor is it the individual teacher who exerting their authority. Although some may object, mostly on political grounds I suspect, they are implementing policy. The policy is informed by heath professionals. At least ours is.

So you are using this definition to deem it indoctrination correct?

“the process of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically.”

You believe that too, apparently.

So at my school they call me “Doc.” Every school has their “Doc.” When the older kids ask me how my new students are doing, I tell them I’m "InDOCtrinating them. School is such a great place. I love it when kids challenge me. I don’t correct them or pass judgement. We just roll with it.

Correction. Not challenging me, but the ideas that we are discussing.

Duh.

Except this is not what is going on, referring back to the OP.

Cool…and all the kids are wearing masks in the video right?

According to Samm, everything is a belief. And, who knows, that might be true. Facts are just beliefs too. As Tom Lehrer once said: “When correctly viewed, everything is lewd.”

The CDC has lost all credibility regarding masks as they have been all over the place stupid with their helter skelter yes/no-indoor/outdoor mask wearing guidelines. They’ve gone Fauci fraud and are not operating for the benefit of the citizens or our children’s health but for the benefit of the Democrat Party.

They have done everything political during this pandemic including demonizing & not allowing Doctors to use effective treatment meds, which D Governors are still doing today, so they have covid19 blood on their hands because more people died from the virus because of it.

Ok, let’s talk this through. First and foremost, a parent would not send their child to a school, having a mask mandate, without a mask. That would would be self defeating, because that child would not be allowed in the school without a mask.

So far no teacher involvement.

These are preschoolers with no political agenda. It is highly unlikely a child would blatantly refuse to wear a mask once they arrive.

But let’s say for argument sake an individual child rips off their mask and refuses to put it back on. There are no punishment options for the teacher, because she cannot allow the unmasked child to remain in her classroom. Her only option is to bring the child to the principal’s office, where they would then contact the child’s parent to remove the child from the school.

So I guess one could argue that the teacher would be responsible for bringing an uncooperative child to the principal’s office.

Is that what you are referring to?

But then again that is intuitively obvious, having nothing to do with the OP indoctrination discussion.

Great- so the CDC, FDA and frankly any health agency is tainted and gives bad guidance. Who would you like school boards to look to for guidance for how to handle a pandemic that has killed over 700 K people?

What agency should a school board look to for guidance?

Meaningless word

700 K and counting…

Meaningless.

Maybe if Trump set up a separate agency run by people he picked that he thought could give better guidance. Not too science-y though. More on the side of freeberty.

Bull pucky…

Who decides?
