Its very existence is evidence the teacher is attempting to indoctrinate her preschool students with her opinion on the wearing of masks.

If a school teacher is using a song to explain to young students why/how to wear a mask while at school and there is a mask mandate at that school, then is it any different than them using a song to explain the importance of washing your hands? Is that indoctrination?

It isn’t the teacher’s job to talk to a child about their personal hygiene. That is a parent’s responsibility.

Care to share your state, I’d be willing to check on your states curriculumn requirements and let’s see if personal hygiene is part of the standards.

I know here in Virginia it is. Below is the Health Educataion standards and there are many examples in there for standards which fall into the personal hygiene category such as hand washing and proper teeth brushing.

Assisting an individual student who is having trouble with their mask is helping a student in action. Having all students recite the teacher’s opinion about the merits of wearing a mask is indoctrination.

And yet that teacher did find the time to Indoctrinate her students.

This is a teacher trying to make it fun for kids to wear masks because she is responsible if they don’t. .

Get over it.

She is not personally responsible for the student’s mask wearing, because they wouldn’t be there without a mask in the first place. Parents alone are responsible for following a school’s mask mandate. Indoctrination, plain and simple.

Mask wearing is a controversial topic. There are two very strong opinions and evidence to support both opinions. The teacher might feel strongly about her opinion, but it is still her opinion. She has no right to force that opinion on her preschool students.

Look closely at my statement.

Of course overall general hygiene is part of a school’s curriculum. How those general concepts are applied in the home environment is the parent’s responsibility.

Better you show me the School Board mandating the song be sung in each classroom.

If that were the case, that would be an even scarier proposition than an individual teacher choosing to do so.
