I really liked this actor. From the menacing Sherriff in Rambo, First Blood, to a thoroughly scary John Wayne Gacy in To Catch a Killer, he really was a great bad guy actor in particular.
In reading books from Tami Hoag’s Kovacs and Liska, I always pictured him playing the tough talking, stubbornly bachelor Sergeant Kovacs.
Natural causes, non COVID related, long life, but this still really is sad news. Rest In Peace; job well done.
