My experience with classified information is limited to this past summer.
There was no floppy drive or CD-R drive. “Downloading” anything onto the local memory was impossible, let alone getting it out of the computer.
Nope.
Manning copied the files onto a CD in Iraq, smuggled it out of the room in a Lady GaGa case, and then hid it on a digital camera memory card to get it back into the US.
Then obviously a lot has changed since Manning’s leaks.
He transferred data to CD Rom’s, SD cards, and Thumb drives.
He was able to burn it onto a CD only because he was in Iraq.
And you don’t think the government would jump to make sure that couldn’t happen again as soon as possible?
The gov’t has never moved quickly on much of anything that deals with admin.
None of this is relevant to the topic at hand.
All of the punditry was wrong. They lied to you.
Hillary Clinton could never have been prosecuted in the way you wanted. Everyone who told you she would be either was wrong, or actively lied to you.

Really poor deflection. It is possible to copy and paste as was explained. Bradly Manning proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that you can download material from the secure net and send it again by unsecure systems.
You are flailing yet again.
Again, I’ll take the word of people who have spent decades in the Justice Dept, worked as federal prosecutors, and judges, and the statutes themselves.
She knew she was handling classified material, knew she was mishandling and negligently handling it and should have been tried and convicted for same. The only thing that has kept her out of jail so far is her last name and political position.
No. This whole tangent about Manning was the delflection.
It’s not possible to copy and paste classified information.
No, that’s not what happened. Manning “proved” that you could download classified information 10 years ago.
Who are these people you are relying on as authorities?
What gives them more authority than the Supreme Court?
Prove it.
If you can download it you can cut and paste it and send it through unsecure servers just as manning did.
I don’t have to prove it, her own words and actions proved it.
…
Are we understanding what “cut and paste” means correctly?
Well, you do. That’s how criminal prosecution works - the burden of proof lies with the accuser.
More importantly, the prosecutors who actually have full access to all of the evidence all say she couldn’t be prosecuted.
I’ll take their word (and the Supreme Court’s) over whatever pundit you’re parroting.

This isn’t a court and her own words damn her.
No, the only people who gave her a pass had a clear agenda to support her.
Now that Barr is looking into it, we’ll see how it all shakes out.
You are asking, if not demanding, that Clinton be criminally prosecuted.
That requires a court.
I am asking you to present your arguments, since you appear to feel strongly about this.
Really?
What agenda did Michael Horowitz have to “give her a pass?”
Keep that faith alive. Any day now.
I’ve already presented them and since you are neither judge nor jury I’ve done all that is required.

No, you really haven’t.
You’ve posted a few Op-Eds from years ago, which have mostly been disproven.

In your never biased opinion.
I say give her, her day in court and let her make her case.

What possible political benefit could Horowitz have gained by essentially exonerating Clinton?
This is the same Horowitz that you guys are relying on to deliver the FISA report in the next week or so, by the way.
