Because I want to convince anti-transgender people to not be anti-transgender.

I m not anti transgender…I seriously don’t care. Just don’t get all huffy with me over your pronoun preference it’s not my problem.

If an adult makes the choice to alter his or her body that’s their choice.

I just don’t see their preferred pronouns as my problem.

If you misgender transgender woman (biological male) and they ask you to use she/her pronouns when referring to them, will you?

The bar is “don’t be an ■■■■■■■■ and I don’t think that’s a high one. And both sides should respect that… that is if a transgender person is misgendered, they should politely correct you, not “get all huffy” and like wise if you misgender a transgender person and they politely correct you you should try to use the correct pronouns. This idea that all transgender people will starting yelling at you the first time you misgender them is a anti-trans myth. Most transgender people will only get “huffy” if you keep doing it over and over again or you are doing it intentionally.

And I thoroughly reject any effort by so called educators and left wing kooks to indoctrinate children with transgender ism. Kids need to learn the basics in school…reading and math and stuff

Which is why there is value in educating the ignorant adults about transgender people. It’s the same amount of “indoctrination” that we use to teach kids to be nice to people who are different, be it a difference of sex, gender, skin color, religion, ability, etc.

If you want to call it indoctrination, then fine… I proudly support indoctrinating children into being polite to people who are different.

Has literally anyone ever gotten “all huffy” with you about their pronouns?

If you greeted someone, and they corrected you and asked to be called by a specific set of pronouns, what would you do?

Well that’s a waste of time hypothetical.

This thread is about 3 teenage boys being accused of sexual harassment for allegedly not respecting one teenage girls desire to be called them or they. So yes this young woman got very huffy with those young men…their families now feel compelled to hire attorneys to defend their good names.

And again, if the parents didn’t go public about it, they wouldn’t have names needing to be defended. We don’t even know how to investigation is going to turn out, do we?

Tucker Carlson is part of the right wing media. The right believes that the left is being told what to think by the left wing media. The left believes the right is being told what to think by the right wing media. STODR made a reference to left wing media telling the left what to think, so I made a reference to the right wing media telling the right what to think.

So when one side accuses the other side of being feed opinions from the media, they are being hypocritical because it happens on both sides.
