Oh I wonder what life must be like working for the government, the first IT company I worked at 12 hour days were the norm and on crunch time before a major software release they would roll out the cots for a few months and we would sleep by our desk for 1-2 months in order for it to be done on due date.

That’s the difference between those that do and those that don’t.

I was pretty disgusted when it was said in a thread waiting 1.5 hours to vote is unacceptable.

A couple of years ago, I was out of town and had to take an Uber ride to the store. The man who drove was South African. He spoke of how excited he was working on getting his citizenship.

He couldn’t wait to be able to vote and his dream was to serve on a jury one day.

He put a lot of things into perspective for me as to how much some Americans take all that we have for granted.

Folks like you are the backbone that makes this country ultimately successful. Folks like him are the ones who are inspired by America and all it stands for.
