I was pretty disgusted when it was said in a thread waiting 1.5 hours to vote is unacceptable.

A couple of years ago, I was out of town and had to take an Uber ride to the store. The man who drove was South African. He spoke of how excited he was working on getting his citizenship.

He couldn’t wait to be able to vote and his dream was to serve on a jury one day.

He put a lot of things into perspective for me as to how much some Americans take all that we have for granted.

Folks like you are the backbone that makes this country ultimately successful. Folks like him are the ones who are inspired by America and all it stands for.

I noticed in the debates and politicking that if federal relief doesn’t get to the states and municipalities, then cuts will be necessary – cuts to fire and police and EMTs… But never was it mentioned to make cuts to government bureaucrats.

So just a couple of questions.

#1 “I wonder what life must be like working for the government.” You realize that staffing for election officials is actually pretty small right? Most of the workers you see are either Temp’s or volunteers.

#2 You said that during crunch time you were required to work 12-hour days. Why should it be different for people working elections? (Not just the Temps/Volunteers, but the limited number of regular staff that have to be present during processing.)

The Nevada Secretary of State did not say they were taking a day off. It appears that the announcement was that here were would not be a further release of numbers until 09:00 AM tomorrow. Well, they are processing the mail-in ballots today to try to be ready to report tomorrow.

Do some people think they can take today off and they will magically count themselves over night and be tabulated by tomorrow early AM?

Did you also notice that while small businesses were forced to close and some permanently, hours cut, people losing their jobs, etc. during the great lockdowns…how many government workers were sent home without pay? How many lost their jobs permanently? How many missed a ■■■■■■■ paycheck?

All that is left to count is the mailed ballots received yesterday only, and provisional ballots. Nevada is done and in the Biden column. It will be official tomorrow morning at 9:00am.

They are cheating. STEALING the election. If the signature on the registration doesn’t match the one on the ballot, count it anyway. More votes cast in many districts than registered voters. Observers shut out from getting to see what is actually being done with the ballots. Boxes delivered middle of the night by ONE person…
