We pulled the plug on Phish in AC because of some family stuff happening next week. The tour came up through the south where cases are high, and while we’re all vaccinated, testing positive would have impacted those things.

Tons of reports of vaxed testing postive, but you know, by tons, that’s like 40 people on a message board.

Kind of second guessing it, but done now. Couch tour tonight to make up for it…

Cases are irrelevant, all that really matters are hospitalizations, ICU and deaths.

Which are skyrocketing- especially in the South where vaccination levels in some parts are abysmal. If Fox did 24 hours of walk to wall coverage promoting the vaccine we might lick this thing.

Deaths per 100K, we are doing real well as a country until you get to the bottom (top of the list) 10 or so.

Of course those are the states with the lower vaccination rates.

And it doesn’t have 157 reported so fat to graph yet.

As for deaths…that’s lagging indicator. Now having said that it does seem vaccine is helping to prevent deaths in which I’ve been saying.

But also we are not seeing age groups, are they successfully keeping it out of nursing homes etc.
