I liked the one dissatisfied with her CJ degree and wished she had taken art.

Actually, I regret the major I chose. I started off bio/pre-med. I ended up getting a degree in economics, and was already accepted to the PhD Econ program at USC. But in my senior year I took some programming courses, fell in love with programming, and never looked back. (The undergrad econ prof who was sponsoring me into the PhD program was not too happy with me.)

“Disappointed” comes in many flavors. I was disappointed that I hadn’t found programming earlier, and therefore missed out on taking a whole bunch more related courses undergrad. But I wasn’t disappointed with the life results my colleges experience pointed me to. And certainly the mathematical and logical disciplines of economics served me in other ways.

But a lot of my classmates from that liberal arts college graduated with sociology degrees. Or Classics (latin and greek.) Or political science. Or literature history. Those degrees showed that they were educable, and many ended up in insurance sales, or account management. But few did anything with their degrees.

I guess she never heard the expression “starving artist.”.

Where is the enumerated power for the federal to bail anyone out?

Starving artist.
Burger flopper.

Po-tay-to, po-ta-to.
