The war on Venezuela (the war on drugs) (regime change)

I love watching people who’ve never been anywhere near a war boneheadedly try to define one.

Drones would do the trick.

He is. That he defers to Hegseth when he is in the room does not change the standing orders. The highest rank in the room always gets that courtesy. And Bradley didn’t get to the rank of Admiral without recognizing who of those people who outrank him want to have their asses kissed. Hegseth quit obviously loves being in charge.

You’re becoming desperately silly.

You’ll have to be in charge first. :face_with_tongue:

That is arguably a serious issue.

Let’s review:

  • The argument that “We dont have teh right to blow up the drug boats” is wrong.
  • This is not the sort of immidate threat that allows the president to act without Congressional approval → arguable true.
  • Killing the survivors in the water is wrong. → Def a true statment, if that is what really happened.

See? It’s possible to disparae Donald Trump AND tell the truth at the same time.
When Donald Trump is truly wrong, one need not feign ignorance nor knowingly say untrue things.

Drones? How can a drone stop and board a boat and apprehend the crew?

Is that boat going all the way to Miami without stopping, Samm? It’s not an oil tanker.

If only the US had assets - human and otherwise - up and down the West Indies.

It is always enlightening the thinking that is revealed when one adopts the principle that ends justify means, and laws are just pesky little things that get in the way of ■■■■ getting done.

Reducing human beings to incidental also helps with this thought process.

Slay whom thy lord names as enemies, and to be content.

PS this reminds me an awful lot of the defensive ice when they brought all those people out from the apartment building and held them for hours in their bed. Clothes and underwear.. going so far as to blame those people for living in the same building as illegals.

Nope, it’s not. It’s lying on the bottom of the Caribbean in a thousand pieces.

Well that’s true actually :joy: Well played, sir.

Here’s a thought. If cartel members don’t want to get blown up with their boats, they shouldn’t go out to sea in them.

(Irrelevant PS ignored and deleted.)

In this case it would be more like 15 minutes.

When did he say that?

Oh stop!

Your’s wasn’t a logistical argument.

You said we couldn’t board them because it might be:

But you think we can just blow them up instead!

Can you answer the question?

What other criminals do we have the right to summarily execute?

This guy comes to mind,
although he didn’t kill nearly as many as a boatload of fentanyl.

The boat guys are far worse than him.

I don’t know what that is.
