Its not though. Look at the suicide rates in eastern Europe. They are not exactly the Eden of gun ownership over there.

New Zealand is having their own special problems seems like innocent gun owners are unwilling to be sheep. Not many guns have been turned in. And the government has no idea who has the guns. And low and behold some gun owners are taking this to court.
