I disagree. It’s a good thing. However, actually following it would be much more impressive.

Do you believe there are those among them who have never read it?

You are right its all theater.

Does anyone think that some in the house are going to be suddenly jnspired by listening to it.

The ■■■■■■■ wont even be listening they will be playing on their phones or listening to a podcast.

Exactly. Both sides do it. Its pathetic.

I am sure one or two will be channeling their best acting skills and will start crying when the constitution is read out.

You forgot to mention that previously.

Since they swear an oath to it, pretty good reminder. Or explanation for those who haven’t read it.

Someone reading a document will not teach anyone anything but I get where you are coming from. I would be more impressed if they held a series of workshops discussing the constitution as well as the different viewpoints on how the constitution is read.

Funnily enough yesterday my wife gave me a little pocket book version of The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

No? Pretty much what the public education system is based on.

But I didn’t say anything about “teaching”, did I?

My kids went through public school here and it was far more interactive than just someone reading to them.

Of course it was. That’s why 70% of 4th and 8th graders can’t read.

The GOP should be taken seriously.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell will run for Republican National Committee chair next year, he announced Monday

I cant talk for others but my kids did perfectly fine in public school. Some were educated in England and the others here in the US. So we have experience of both systems.

Not sure what point you are trying to make but hey ho.

If they elect him, the GOP should throw itself in the dumpster.

Apparently he’s a long shot, but I wish him luck.

There for the wooing

No chance. They have principals Republicans aren’t going to accept.

They get older and start paying taxes. People shouldn’t assume that as turnouts increase because of mail in votings that campaign strategies won’t change. But it will be an interesting thing to watch.

I’m thinking more along the lines of social issues. They won’t give them up.
