No. None of them are. And alphas aren’t chosen.

It sounds like you are making a back-handed Nazi comparison, but that can’t be right.

Does choice not to challenge out of fear or respect imply choice?

Serious question not trying to be an ass

No. The pack, herd, flock does not choose alphas. Alphas take. They self-select.

And no Trump nor Obama are alphas.

It isn’t that complicated.

Germany has a horrific past but given that I think that the country is still good.

Stop thinking about it so hard.

Ok. This thread isn’t about Germany.

And there is nothing in the US past that compares to that.

I have to think about it hard. Last vestiges of intellectual intimidation.

I simply brought Germany up to illustrate that I believe that the US is a good country in spite of our past.

What I find disappointing is that some think that acknowledging and understanding that past will harm the country.

I don’t think that it will.

This thread isn’t about Germany.

What I find disappointing is that you believe critical theory is about the past.

Holy missing the point Batman

Is this thread now about critical theory?

I didn’t bring it up.

I think a dude with barely any political experience took

That goes for both Obama and trump. An NYC financier snd a black lawyer. They promised - forgotten man and hope/change. Barely delivered. Both could have won a third term. Brains didn’t matter for either. Delivery of promises did. Imo those who promise to get elected but don’t deliver are takers.

I don’t understand.

I don’t believe you have a point.

I laughing face.

The last refuge.

We both know what you’re trying to do. You can’t help it.

Okie clearly this sounded better in my head

You said alphas take.

In a republic If i can convince an electorate that i will deliver but can’t or had no intention to is that the same as taking.

Some good answers here. The usual suspects doing the usual.

Good night.

Republic has nothing to do with convincing an electorate. In fact quite the opposite.

Any electorate. The flock. The pack. Whatever.

I was giving a compliment to the country that I love. The nation of my birth. Where thirteen generations of my progenitors have lived.

That despite all of the history, the United States is a good country

I would not say the same about Russia.
