Didn’t Musk call some submarine guy a pedo over some dispute about trying to rescue those Indonesian kids in a cave or whatever it was. I forgot about that. That was hilariously random. Everybody was like wait wait wait wait, what just happened. We were doing the rescue the kids from drowning in the cave thing and now we’re doing the pedo thing.

Those people were Twitter employees. When they banned them, they got input from many different employees at different levels within Twitter. Then they finally determined they should ban them.
Moderation is messy but at least the decision wasn’t made without consulting multiple employees.
Do other “ dating/ hook up” sites have this problem of under aged people using the site or is it mostly Grindr?

The biggest problem I see is the meetings with the FBI. Not over postings that are themselves illegal, like some porn or scams, but about blocking speech about problems with voting or laptop contents. And I am not talking about the first amendment only as an issue, but where did the FBI get authorization to interfere with content that Americans are legally allowed to see? Is that in their charter?
