Correction. American Politician before Trump were screwing us.

You know……………Strategically it has been amazingly genius on China’s part
to do what they’ve been doing. I mean I despise what they have done, but if I were one of them especially in their army, a great strategy would to overwhelm my opponents market, and
dominate them, to the point where I flood them so much, that I drive their own
competitors and own manufacturers out of business, to the point where only China’s companies came to America, and made things here, and American made companies had to go else where just to be able to compete and survive.

The problem is there’s more than one way to address the China issue and Trump chose the worst way imaginable to do it.

But when you’re fed lies as to how “ineffective” the other ways were and when such lies resonate with what you already believe (“I KNEW there were dark globalist forces that were making my life miserable!”) then I can see why you would double down.

And if the stock market is punishing you for it and businesses and farmers are rebelling…you can either learn from that reaction or else too ■■■■■■■ bad when your foreign policy goes to ■■■■■

I actually rebalanced my portfolio a couple of weeks ago when it looked like this was going to happen. It’s currently weighted more towards bonds than equity for the time being so that I could reduce my exposure to the equity risk in the current environment.
