So in other words you are talking about immigration.
If that’s J’Biden’s solution to growing the US economy, an illegal invasion horde, America is totally ■■■■■■■
Are you working as a Historian or a Sociologist?
And a few anecdotal examples of people with generic liberal arts degrees doesn’t change the fact that most of those people are not making six figure salaries and don’t find jobs that had anything to do with what they studied in college.
Right i wasn’t trying to use myself as as example.
The poster said on average. He is right.

I have a theater degree and I make six figures in a field that is tangential to what I studied.

The question raised in an earlier article was about people’s satisfaction with their degree.
Whether or not you are in a field that matches your degree (and I’m certainly not in such a field), are you satisfied with your degree?
I know I am, in spite of a career that doesn’t match (or even relate to) the degree I earned.
Sure, but we’re talking averages.
These are the sources that tell the story not anecdotal accounts on an anonymous internet forum:
What is the average liberal arts major salary in the US?
The national average salary for a liberal arts major graduate in the United States is $39,349 per year or $18.92 per hour. The top 10 percent make over $77,000 per year, while the bottom 10 percent make under $19,000 per year. Health care companies and non profits companies are the best when it comes to the number of employment opportunities. States with the highest salaries for liberal arts major graduates include New York, California, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

Yeah… I gave up working in theater to work in TV and movies. Made quite a bit of money doing corporate event work for a few years.
All of it had to do with Lighting which was my focus in college.
I am hugely satisfied with my degree. I also think that my degree actually bodes well with what i do.
What a complete bunch of ■■■■■■■■■ Either we have open borders (or let’s just call it unlimited and unrestricted legal immigration) or the economy collapses. Economically speaking it would be perfectly fine to let low wage dead end jobs go unfilled then bringing in poverty from third world nations to fill them.
simple fact.
without people, economies die.
