I cannot believe we are 18 months in and still people are standing on the idea that mask orders are the Worst Threat To Personal Freedoms Ever.

I doubt anyone has called masks tyranny. Rather they are calling mask-mandates tyranny.

The holocausts began with the imposition of lesser infringements to freedoms before more serious sanctions were imposed. Therefore the comparison of mask mandates and the demonization of mask-rebels to the MO of the holocaust and the warnings of a slippery slope are appropriate.
