The Speeches Are Done, What Next?

Why do you think that it is Trump to give in, why don’t the Democrats give in, unless you think the drug trafficking and the sex trafficking the Americans support, and all the border agents, which are 50% Hispanic Amerans, are wrong who want the wall.

It is. It’s a full fledged invasion and it won’t be stopped by a few toy airplanes. RIP officer Singh.

Because the majority of Americans agree with them. Why fold when they have the upper hand?

Trump obviously doesn’t think so, otherwise he would have declared it so.

Obviously the Democrats have failed to get what they want. They shoulda woulda hasn’t accomplished anything for them has it?

I was speaking for myself.

Fair enough.

Democrats want to open the government at the same funding level as last year.

Republicans want an expensive item added to the budget, otherwise they won’t allow the government to run until they get what they want.

This is simple. We need to pay the TSA workers and the Custom and Border Patrol agents, and everyone else affected by this shutdown. We can negotiate on whether we should spend extra money on things we may or may not need later. People’s lives are being affected because of this Republican Government Shutdown.

Would you say the same if Obama had demanded 6 billion for Climate Change programs? Or for gun control programs? Or for expanding welfare programs?

Answer seriously now…

To be honest, it doesn’t even matter to me if it ends up that 5 billion goes in the bill. Or 10 or 1.6 or who cares. But there is a process for that. The Senate votes on the House bill. They vote yes or they no. President can veto or not veto. They should go do that.

But not even doing the basic government functions that even Schoolhouse Rock understands is simply idiotic.

Have you looked at how much is spent on illegal aliens yearly. What about the deaths from heroin, the lives of legal immigrants like Singh killed. 1 out of 3 women immigrant women raped. Oh, no problem.

The dems will make that a big campaign issue against R senators in 2020.

And there will be a lot of them up for re-election. Not like 2018.

5 billion for a wall won’t stop that. Why are Republicans afraid of voting on a bill to fund the government? Do you need hostages in order to win this policy debate?

Yeah that’s super sad. Now put the bill up for a vote.

Remember Doug Jones is one of those up for reelection and he won’t have Roy Moore to run against. How many of the Democrats will campaign for the sex trafficking and let the heroin and fentanyl to come through an open border, and on Pelosi calling MS13 children of God. It all depends on how things are framed, and who gets to frame it.

You think they’ll get 67 votes? You know it’d be a waste of time, unless there is 67 votes. They might get 50 votes, the original house funded bill from last session if voted for now, would get 53 votes, perhaps 55 with Manchin and Jones.

Nah, should be fast then. They can even wave to us on CSPAN as they do it. Go vote yes or no. Trump can get out his veto pen if it comes to that. He loves being on TV.

That’s the only way to get the wall.

The only reason not to put the bill up to a vote is:

  1. If you think it will actually pass the Senate, and
  2. If you think Trump doesn’t have the guts to veto it.

But if you think either of those things are true, then the GOP is already a lost cause.

That is no longer an option

Mitch doesn’t have the guts to bring it up for a vote… YET.
