You are a Big Government Dem. A Jbiden type. A liberal would never applaud a banning.

Maybe that has been the biggest change - the inability to take political loss.
I’m not saying things were perfect in the past. However, it seemed to be that when you lost, you felt bad but accepted it and moved on. It was used as motivation to figure out what went wrong and to improve the party and candidates so that future elections could be won.
Now it seems that when a loss occurs, it is no longer because the losing party had deficits in the eyes of the voter, it’s because they were cheated out of a win. Instead of the loss being accepted and the losing party changes/grows, the losing party demonizes the victor and questions the outcome. Instead of changing the things that lead to the loss, the losing party amplifies the negative and partisan components of their candidates and platform.
This is not a one party issue. It can be seen on both sides. I do think recent events have ratcheted things an order of magnitude above what we’ve seen before.
No one can take a political loss like an adult anymore.

You can be a democrat who favors govt involvement on issues and a liberal at the same time.
For instance fema. Great program. Started by “gasp” a liberal.
Social security. Great program. Started by a liberal.
Medicare. Great program. Started by a liberal.
I could go on and on.

You can’t be a liberal and favor using government to ban.
Ban what exactly. Let’s get specific so that I can discuss.

You know what I’m talking about very well.
What Twitter banning trump?
He violated TOS.
What happens here at hannity?
Allan
I will grab the fainting couch for ya
You do it the same way it’s been done throughout history, you negotiate an agreement both parties can swallow.
United States history. Nope.
Allan
Of course it has. How do you think we ended up with the US SW, The Philippines, and Puerto Rico?
How do you think we ended up with many former British Colonies and Possessions as a result of Lend Lease?
We negotiated trades with their former owners.
That was expanding the country. Which we always have done.
When did a state exit the union via negotiation?
Won’t happen
Allan
Keep those goalposts on wheels.
Is this another case of “everything is impossible until it’s done for the first time”?

The posts they cited as the reason for his ban doesn’t violate their TOS. Here they are, judge for yourself and tell me what the violation was.
from Permanent suspension of @realDonaldTrump
On January 8, 2021, President Donald J. Trump Tweeted:
“The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!”
Shortly thereafter, the President Tweeted:
“To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.”

Sit in the corner a while. There are a couple of things that will make it a very long while.
Ah the usual old argument. Regulating the 2nd amendment.
You and I disagree on this. Radically.
Liberals run jersey. You know legal weed. No death penalty. No cash bail. Liberal governor.
Allan
I cant seem to find weed, the death penalty or cash bail mentioned in the constitution. Help us all out and show us where these things are mentioned.
