You are right. And the impeachment alienates the Democrats more than you think. Hence, the divide widens and deepens.

Not true…a majority of Americans are appalled at the riots at the Capitol. There needs to be consequences for that event. The ONLY people complaining are Trumplicans that always place blame way over -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> there.

It is not. It sets a precedent that claiming voter fraud with zero proof to stoke one’s base is never acceptable behavior of the president of our country.

Why do you insist on boiling this all down into specifics. This was not so much about alleged voter fraud as it is a general mistrust and suspicion by a very large segment of Americans of those folks in Washington who have overtly threatened to impose their own social codes and arguably unconstitutional laws upon us without our consent. The political divide was there well before the election took place. Even if Trump had won, it would still have existed. Yes, lack of faith in the fairness of the election (40% of all Americans, including 10% of Democrats, have doubts about the veracity of our elections) was the impetus for the demonstrations we just witnessed, but that was just the culmination of what has been a growing problem for the last twenty years. You think its all about Trump and Trump supporters. You could not be more wrong. The fact is, Trump was elected because of the polarization of society and politics.

Because it is about specifics. Trump “claiming” the election was stolen from them is what drove the rioters at the Capitol. His constant provoking is what got us to where we are. I’m not niave enough to believe that voter fraud does not exist, but that doesn’t mean you should be able to spend 2 months claiming fraud with ZERO evidence.

That was just the tip of the iceberg. The cause has been fulminating for almost 20 years. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you will see what a danger this impeachment is to America. You cannot ever suppress a deep ideological rebellion by executing their figurehead.

Being a racist is a conscious decision. That along proves your assertion wrong.

That’s simply not true. Yes some people are overtly racist and are proud of it, but others, like Biden, are racist either by upbringing or nature, and aren’t even aware of it. They aren’t malicious, but they are inadvertently condescending and exhibit an air of inherent superiority over them. And some, like many others in the Democratic Party, are patronizing racist … they feel minorities need to be mothered and assisted and guided to be able to succeed in life. Biden may fit into this category as well.

Problem is whining about 6 month old democrat hypocrisy is not really effective when the question is what do we do about Trump’s rebellion last week? Gaetz is only fired up because fewer GOP hacks willing to shill for Trump, means getting more donations from the gullible people who funded Sidney Powell’s Kraken Release, Rudy Giuliani’s hunt for Hunter, and the Epoch Tales. It did jack ■■■■ to persuade.

The peaceful BLM protests are a wonderful expression of the right to protest. The violent ones are just plain bad. I can see the difference why can’t others.
