Notable:
-
Artem is currently 5th in the points and has shown flashes of brilliance all season long. All he needs is consistency to be a Champion.
-
The title contenders are sitting P2 and P3 so we can expect fireworks for the lead or just the lead between them. Both Christian and Braden are good at Mid-Ohio, so anything is possible.
-
Christian Brooks, stepping up from USF2000 for his first IP2K weekend, is looking like he should have been here, all along. The Santa Clarita, Cakifornia native has a background in Global Rally Cars, where he was a stand-out for three seasons.
-
Ireland’s James Roe had a mechanical - probably a broken suspension - on his first lap, spinning the car in Turn 1 and bringing out a red flag. He was not able to get it back on track before the session ended and posted no time.
James Row - misfortune
