Sunday morning at Mid-Ohio - Indy Pro 2000 qualifies for Race 2…
.
The rain was sprinkling and the track was very wet as the IP2K gang qualified, but they managed to get it in.

Notable:
-
No one in IP2K went off, causing a red flag.
-
Points-leader Christian Rasmussen elected NOT to qualify at all, as all he has to do is start Race 2 to be Champion, and it wasn’t worth risking the car in the conditions. Once the green flag falls, Christian will be free to race as hard as he wants, as he will already be the Champ.
-
Exclusive Autosport put all three of their cars in the TOP FIVE, including Christian Brooks, having his first weekend of IP2k, and looking like he always should have been here.
-
Enaam Ahmad is from England and is well used to the rain. He held pole until after the checkered flag fell, when Hunter finished his flier, and stole it away. This is Hunter’s 5th pole of the season.
.
On the pole, Hunter McElrea

The race will be the last event of the weekend, starting at 1:10pm EASTERN time, and on Youtube. Next up, USF2000 holds their Race 2. The grid for this is in post # 12…
