That’s what everybody wants because everybody wants a villain but in reality most of us on the right just want conservatism, a reduction in illegal immigration and less government intrusion. I won’t miss Trumps spending of course it looks like he is being replaced by a big spender as well.

I think Democrats would be pretty surprised if they would get tougher on borders like they were even when Obama was president, reduce outsourcing/insourcing and acquire better trade deals many on the right would be happy to compromise that for a single payer healthcare system that if everyone was being honest isn’t gonna happen without republican support.

Bush did not continue to keep himself plugged in to the GOP and the CEC after leaving office. Are you expecting Trump to go silently into the night? If so, then that is very naïve. Trump will be a major force within the Republican/QAnon Party for a long, long time to come. Assuming he does not end up in prison for any of the alleged crimes.
