But even with that, like it’s already been pointed out quite a few times here, his pre-Covid habits were obviously not in line with any anti-spending platform.

I spend a lot of money but…the intent…is that it generates more revenue than what I spent. In other words, had I not spent this money, the institution I work for would have made less. Being able to identify these differences is what makes the all the difference. When I observed Trump’s spending, that was how I interpreted it. That said, COVID ruined much of the expected outcomes due to these expenditures making it much harder to actually judge the effectiveness of the spending.
