Good.

I did my research. I know far more about CT than you ever will.

You’re not the smartest guy in the room on this one. Not even close.

Robert Woodson seems to take a dim view of CRT.
https://independenttribune.com/opinion/columnists/column-beware-the-ills-of-crt-and-the-1619-project/article_771ba9ea-af32-11eb-b54d-87b35968c767.html

You couldn’t go to a state college in Alabama if you were black? Really?

“The campuses include Alabama State University in Montgomery, A&M University and Oakwood College in Huntsville, Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Talladega College in Talladega, Selma University and Concordia College in Selma, Stillman College in Tuscaloosa and Miles College in Birmingham.”

On a local Facebook page re Dallas area schools, the members were pushing CRT. They were saying that it was not understood by white people and that was the reason it was opposed. Of course, this fits into the stereotypical viewpoint of the left…they are the geniuses and anyone who opposes them need to be educated…will they or not.

Here is the article they referenced to explain critical race theory to the unwashed whites:

White People’s Fear of Critical Race Theory is Based in Ignorance | by Allison Gaines | May, 2021 | CULTURED (readcultured.com)

And this is supposed to show why people have to be uneducated to oppose CRT.

Note how they attack McConnell. Supposedly CRT is not about attacking white people, it is to explain the current situation based on history. What is McConnell’s sin? He had ancestors who owned slaves.
Of course that is going to be divisive. White people are guilty by inheritance.

But can CRT be calmly discussed in the pros and cons? Hardly. If you oppose CRT it is because you are a white supremacists.

“White people who fear critical race theory are using deflection 101. They will do anything to distract from their role in maintaining white supremacy.”

Well, at least black people are pure. Well, hold on. Only those who agree with the left.

“Under this theory, representation matters because a Black man would be theoretically more in tune with other Black men’s specific needs and experiences. As Tim Scott demonstrated, this theory is an approximation. Someone’s skin color or sex does not guarantee they would be the group’s best advocate. The theory simply postulates they would be more likely to be a better representative.”

So we can listen to your opinions…as long as you are black…and they are leftist opinions.
Otherwise…shut up.

And this article was referenced by someone who wanted to calm uneducated white people’s fear of CRT. I wonder what the real hard core CRT is like.

P.S. The membership of the public facebook page was heavily weighted towards education type and liberal arts types at local Universities. Actually, very few seemed to be black.

As I describe in the prior post, that appears to be one of the tenets of CRT. People who oppose it have nothing to fear, they are just uneducated and must be educated. Also, if they are white, they oppose it because they are white supremacists. And if they are black and oppose it, well they are the wrong sort of black.
Now…lets have an academic discussion of CRT (not)

Please explain the Hegelian dialectic in the context of CRT, why it’s relevant and how it came into the 20th century. Some history would be nice.

Don’t you whine at Tzu claiming he is doing pseudo intellectual ■■■■ the time?

Whine? No. Are any of those words difficult for you?

@JayJay has made some accusations. I am offering an opportunity.

You can participate if you’d like, go right ahead.

To answer my own question you did do that.

Middle School teacher. Dallas. Yearbook cover. I didn’t even know middle schools had yearbooks. This stuff is like a pandemic.

Geez, why do black folks despise the Dimbulbcrats embrace of CRT? Because it promotes “black failure”?

Well, it’s your question, so if you want to answer it yourself go right ahead.

The Hegelian dialectic is the heart and soul of critical theory, cancel culture especially.

It’s not psuedointellectual anything. Nor did I use $20 words to try to impress my “friends”. That’s the actual name of it. Hegel fixed it from Plato. Marx took it from Hegel and made it actionable. Engels was a big fan.

Oh yes, cancel culture that real thing.

I’m fine with it maybe don’t be an ass about it in the future.

Reading Hegel, Marx, Kant, whatever is pretty easy now. no need to put airs about it.

Middle schools (formerly called Jr. High) have had yearbooks since the 60’s.

Well, in CA, can’t speak for TX

It is real. I’ve provided the sources.

An ass about what? You see pretension in that post? If you do, try a different lens because there is none. Just work.

I’m not “putting on airs”, I struggle to understand a lot of it. I had to read the Stanford Philosophy article on it several times. Reread it again today.

I know I’m not an intellectual.

How strange.

None of us are.

Some are. And there are others who think they are.

Turning on Resident Evil 7…
