Do you remember back in COVID walking through your grocery store, and seeing bare shelves upon bare shelves? I remember those very vividly (I work at one), and I NEVER want to see that again!

And yet your candidate proposed to do exactly that, through her price fixing scheme.

Do you remember back in the bad old days of 2008, when uber rich people were literally dumping stocks like they were waste products? Did that make markets rise or what?

So why do we make proposals that will force the rich to dump mass quantities of stocks in order to pay some voodoo tax (like unrealized capital gains)? Do you really want to punch yourself in the face like that?

And yeah, I get homes are uber expensive these days, but do you honestly think forcing the rich to dump half a million homes is going to have any kind of effect on a housing market that numbers in the 80 million range? Really?

When are you going to finally come up with real solutions to address problems we actually care about, without making the problem worse?
