Just got gas at $3.88 per gallon at Sam’s club in Dallas. Is this a trend or a bump down?

Gas steadily went down to just below $5 per gallon in Illinois over the last few weeks. Most of the primaries are concluded. Dems will need things to look like they’re improving by the time they get spanked in November.

And they’ll try to blame Republicans for the upcoming (enhanced) economic woes. The damage hasn’t peaked yet.

I haven’t been out yet today, but regular was still $5.70 here yesterday. Last November, after the initial surge, it was $3.76. Last week (Wednesday) I paid $5.99 in Sitka. Keep in mind, gas tax in Alaska is only 8 cents per gallon.
