I am looking at the bottom of the list
medical care—3.7%
education—2.5%
college tuition—2,1%
Prescription drugs—1.9%

Does anyone really think those prices will continuously increase at less than half the rate of inflation?

You’re talking about a walking ■■■■■■■ who has never worked a day in his life outside of govt. He doesn’t know how real life works.

Heck, they have to tell the senile, blithering idiot to enter a room, greet people and then sit down. Yet this is the smartest guy around and gonna solve this problem by telling people just lower your prices.

What a moron.

Could it be that their rate of increase is lower because they were significantly over priced to begin with?

Alcohol up 4%!? Outrageous!!! Throw the bum out!!

I’m glad I know how to make feminized seeds. I’d hate to see what dispensaries are taking people for these days.

Who is John Galt

Possibly.

But my prediction is in the next 6-18 months those prices will rise FASTER THAN 8.6% (to make up for lost ground) and politicians will have plenty of fodder to say “Drug companies and insurance companies are raising their prices too fast!”

ironically forever stamps are now the only government issued anything that can be said to hold its value.

… unless you meant John Galt…

Did gas prices actually go down a few cents this week??

Down would be fifty cents or a buck. Otherwise it’s just a fluctuation in the data.

Fixed. Thanks.

No problemo.

As for John Gualt he invented a coin-like stamp holder to protect Civil War era stamps when the go ernment authorized their use a currency.

Furthermore, you were right. Forever stamps are about the only good investment these days.

“I will stop the motor of the world.”

That was once just a line in a book. No more.

The man that stopped the motor of the world.

I’m guessing you’re half French and half Italian, am I right? Guess work usually isn’t. I couldn’t give a rodent’s posterior whether or not people liked 5 dollar a gallon gas. I was just curious as to why I am getting more traffic since before the pandemic. I know that I have pretty much put a halt to driving other than to work and back. I am also fortunate that everything I need is on my way from work.

It did. It’s at 4.86 by me now. Down maybe 10 cents.
