Maybe dimwit Dem governors should follow CDC guidelines and open the schools!!

Do you mean the CDC guidelines that say that the final decision on wither or not to open schools rests with local school districts, local government and local health departments? Do you think it was not wise for some school districts and colleges to curtail in-person learning because of a big spike in identified cases?

Plus… if reopening the schools was such a priority for the President then he should direct the Secretary of Education to work with the CDC and the HHS to find out where some localities are lacking in Covid prevention and muster the resources necessary to meet those needs.

But that would take work.

Easier to just tweet.

I find it amusing that Trump wants us to believe he is out eating at normal restaurants as the President where normal people are waiting on him.

I’m kind of surprised he didn’t. But it was likely because he did not expect George to ask who these mystery people were. His normal interviewers on Fox & Friends never “ambush” him like that.

When the whole re-open the schools thing started there were multiple school superintendents and infectious disease experts who all said the same thing. That most school’s air handling systems were not equipped to filter out the virus and that made for very unsafe places for students, teachers and staff spending a good length is time. However you never heard anyone in the Administration say that they were willing to fund anything having to do with schools outside of their usual funding. Oh, except for Trump threatening to take away federal education money from districts who didn’t open.
