Just a tip for anyone traveling to NYC.
We were there last week, decided to see a play, but reading through the blurbs the only one that appealed to me was a play-within-a-play comedy called “The Play That Goes Wrong.” It had announced an 8/26 closing, extended the run through early January.
If you have the opportunity to see it, go - absolutely the funniest play I’ve seen since I saw “Noises Off” - family friendly, brilliant staging. The only downside is that there are moments when everyone was laughing so hard I could barely hear the lines.
PS - even if you don’t need a bathroom break, head for the lobby during the intermission.
