Have you noticed Trumps classic line of “I only hire the best” has been quietly retired.

I wonder how long it is before the Maga crowd start telling us Trump was badly advised about Vance and its not his fault.

Good thing you are not a believer in polls because that 2+ for Harris is a definite stand out from the others. Most are close enough for each side, though, as they were under Biden. The real polls to,watch will be the battleground states.

Its not that I am not a believer, i am just skeptical of polls. I have read up on the methodologies and the “science” behind them and i am still not convinced.

I do think polls are dangerous as they can influence people (which is why they really exist).

However back to your point, thats why I said it will he interesting to see how these numbers develop.

I have no doubt if Harris starts to pull away and ead there will be many Trump supporters starting to pick them apart and explain why they are not accurate.

Right now there is definitely an air of we have this election in the bag among Trump supporters. They may well be right but we all saw what happened to Hillary when she had that attitude.

If I was ever advising a political campaign my advice would be to campaign, strategize and work as if you are the underdog right up until election day.

Funny I don’t see any panic. What I see is campaign strategy. The left has taught the GOP well. Use the courts to make the opposition have to spend time and money on things besides campaigning.

I prefer the more youthful and eloquent Vance over Younkin. Younkin would be like having your Insurance rep promoting the campaign.

Younkin did offer a solid endorsement.

Polls and donors gave Trump the TKO over Biden.

Biden loses rematch.

Elon Musk Says He Never Pledged to Donate $45 Million Per Month to Trump

This is going nowhere. Won’t slow anything down.

No bump in polls after the convention. Unusual.

I know Hulkster used to be popular in the 80s, but the guy is a slob. Why would Trump want to be anywhere near him, especially on the night he is nominated for POTUS?

He only pledged it because he thought Trump was going to win and he was trying to have a say about EV policy in that administration since they have been so hostile to it.

Now he doesn’t think that Trump will win so he doesn’t have to spend the money.

Not exactly.

From your link…

The Wall Street Journal first reported on Musk’s plans to commit around $45 million per month to a group backing Trump, citing people familiar with the matter. In a reply to the story on X, Musk posted a meme with the words “FAKE GNUS.”

Maybe he plans on giving MORE!!

Look at the fear in your post.

Sure.

Elon knows Harris has it in the bag now. Those authoritarian war mongering inflation driving policies from democrats are the best.

Trumpamania!!

It has to be Trumpamania!!

Why would he pledge the money and then rescind it after Biden dropped out?

Remember when Terry did this?

That didn’t happen.

FAKE GNUS.

Yeah that’s probably it.

Yes- and the sex tape, too. Just more excellent judgement on Trump’s part.
