Hopefully not, he needs to make it on better terms. Using biased highly partisan journalist who interrupt then proven wrong later, is not gonna fly. Have any and all debates before first ballot is cast. No exceptions. First rule have each tested for drugs before each debate and results published.

The GoP pulled out of the debates before Trump even declared his candidacy. And he hasn’t made any public statements indicating that he wants to rejoin the commission. I wonder if we will even have a debate this year.

What’s the difference between the two parties negotiating directly for the terms of the debate, and the two parties using the commission as an intermediary and arbiter?

What makes you think Trump and Biden negotiating directly the terms of a debate would result in a 3rd party candidate being on the stage?

36 years, 9 elections, and in all that time just 1 guy has a problem with it…
