The Official Lib Lie of the Day Regarding Trump Thread

The lie is actually that Trump was only talking about MS-13. Watch the long video. Trump is talking about state laws that prevent Sheriffs from working with ICE to speed up deportations. The people he is talking about are immigrants that are in the criminal justice system for offenses ranging from the mundane to the heinous, and Trump labels all of them “animals”.

SHERIFF MIMS: Thank you, Mr. President. You know, sheriffs in California are now in an untenable position when it comes to trying to figure out — now, we have state law, we have federal laws, and here we are stuck in the middle. Sheriffs, especially, because most of us run our county jails.

When there became a legal challenge to the 48-hour holds for ICE, it was very frustrating for us. So what I did is I invited ICE to put their officers in my jails so they’re able to do their work. We didn’t have the staffing to be able to help figure out who they wanted to talk to or didn’t. I said, come on in, work with our people to keep our community safe. Two weeks later, Mr. President, Kate Steinle was murdered.

Now, I wasn’t the only sheriff to do that. Sheriff Youngblood did, Sheriff Christianson. And it was perfect — because we didn’t have to take our time, with our staff, to do anything. ICE was in there doing their work in a safe, controlled, environment. And then, the initiatives started happening — the TRUST Act, the TRUTH Act, and finally, SB 54, the Values Act. And that is causing us all kinds of turmoil.

So here we are, stuck in the middle, trying to decide. We have federal law, we have state law. And that’s why I welcomed Attorney General Sessions’s lawsuit, because that will provide us the clarity that we need and direction that we need. What do we do? Because here we are.

And I appreciated Mr. Homan and ICE. We had a great relationship; we still do. But now ICE is the only law enforcement agency that cannot use our databases to find the bad guys. They cannot come in and talk to people in our jail, unless they reach a certain threshold. They can’t do all kinds of things that other law enforcement agencies can do. And it’s really put us in a very bad position.

THE PRESIDENT: It’s a disgrace. Okay? It’s a disgrace.

SHERIFF MIMS: It’s a disgrace.

THE PRESIDENT: And we’re suing on that, and we’re working hard, and I think it will all come together, because people want it to come together. It’s so ridiculous. The concept that we’re even talking about is ridiculous. We’ll take care of it, Margaret. We’ll win.

SHERIFF MIMS: Thank you. There could be an MS-13 member I know about — if they don’t reach a certain threshold, I cannot tell ICE about it.

THE PRESIDENT: We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — and we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country. You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy.

The dumbest laws — as I said before, the dumbest laws on immigration in the world. So we’re going to take care of it, Margaret. We’ll get it done. We’re going to ask that man right there, because that man can do it. (Laughter.) Right now he’s the most important man in the room. Kevin can do it.

Blockquote

It’s absolutely correct that Trump is labeling all immigrants in the justice system, people who commit crimes at a far lower rate than 'Muricans, are all "animals.

It is of course racist AF, textbook Trump, and his supporters think like this and agree with this.

Ironic that this thread was started to try and lie about what trump really said…

As he should? Obama was mocked for using it…funny how that changes

Like, golf, teleprompters are only important when it’s a Dem.

He was talking first about “our leaders”:

“[u]If our leaders seek to conceal the truth, or we as people become accepting of alternative realities that are no longer grounded in facts, then we as American citizens are on a pathway to relinquishing our freedom,” he said in a commencement address at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va. . . .

“When we as people, a free people, go wobbly on the truth even on what may seem the most trivial matters, we go wobbly on America,” he said.

“Alternative realities” is an allusion to Kellyanne “Bowling Green Massacres” Conway’s Orwellian gibberish about “alternative facts.” “Trivial matters” refers to the way in which President Trump lies about the dumbest, most frivolous ■■■■■■■■ on a daily and weekly basis.

Actually, you’re right. And I agree-it’s pretty pathetic that the president has to buy the affection of women.

I’m sure Melinda Gates would have married the college dropout had he been just a software programmer working at a regular salary.

I encourage you to do a little research into her career and the lead up to their marriage. She, herself was just a software programmer and met Bill at at trade show before Microsoft and “Bill Gates” becamse the household names they are today. And also helped grow the company into what it is today. And also they’re still married. And also they’re ACTUAL billionaires who donate BILLIONS to charities and causes around the world.

And also, Bill Gates doesn’t have to pay women to sleep with him. Instead, he married one, raised a family with her, and remained faithful to her because he loves her.

I did my research. He was already very rich.

And he married her, had a family with her, built a life with her, and isn’t out donging porn stars and playmates and publicly shaming his wife by taking having a public affair all over town and posing for tabloid photos.

Then you also know that she initially turned him down because she didn’t like that he had tried to plan out a first date 2 weeks away and didn’t think he was spontaneous enough. And you’d also know they’re still married. And that he hasn’t paid porn stars for sex. And hasn’t paid off porn stars for their silence. And uses his wealth for the greater good of the world. Did I mention they’re still married?

melinda gates met Bill at Microsoft in 1987. By then he was already listed by Forbes as one of the wealthiest people. she would have been about 24 .

so now that you realize that he was already super rich at that time and that she was - as you say - just programmer, I will repeat my assertion that his money was likely a factor since she had a college degree and- without his money - he was indistinguishable from being just college dropout.

you are going way overboard unnecessarily. I said nothing that implied the Gates’ moral standards was similar to Trump’s. As is typical for you people, you debate with a kind of stream of consciousness discipline.

Go back. The comment was that Trump has to pay to get a woman. I said that you cannot separate the money factor when rich men - such as Bill Gates - first asked his future wife out. What transpired between them after the first couple dates is… as I said… just your stream of coconsciousness vomit and is irrelevant no matter how true it is.

Weak.

Only about 30 yards on that punt.

Ouch, that’ll leave a mark.

IMO…it’s gotten worse.

…ya mean the IG report.

…and? That isn’t even close to the same number in the audience.
