Happy with the election otherwise. We had 3 election deniers and they all lost. All Trump endorsed.

  1. We also passed reproductive rights ensuring we have Roe laws governing us, to the point of viability and then after only to protect the life of the Mother or if the child cannot survive due to malformation.
  2. We passed a Constitutional amendment stating that all corporate contributions must be fully disclosed by political candidates, and set term limits for the Michigan House and Senate.
  3. Lastly, we passed a Constitutional amendment regulating the use of drop boxes, early voting and vote counting. We de-politicized it by mandating that voter certification by local board are a simple task of determining who had more votes and then certifying it. No more “lets look for fraud and maybe toss these votes” nonsense. We also mandated the same thing for the SoS and Governor. Count the votes and certify, no stealing elections.

Coupled with a Constitutional amendment last election that outlawed Gerrymandering, voting in Michigan is about as fair and free as possible in this heated environment. If you wanna win, you have to earn your votes and you cannot pick who votes for you. And no one can stop the count or certification of our votes.

I wish more states would take this Constitutional route and have the people set the rules instead of the politicians.
