Trump already threatened to expose something about him and his wife.

Nope…can’t overcome the bad press. Add to that democrats were successful in painting republicans going to end your freedom and democracy. That fear drove libs out.

I don’t know about that. I thought it was quite telling when DeSantis would not commit to staying a full term during the debate. If Trump does jump in next week it will be interesting to see what the next polls show.
While the DOJ is arresting prolifers, going after Musk, using the government to go after Trump, colluding with Big Tech to silence opposing views, yea it is the Republicans opposing democracy.

Polling has been off in North Carolina the last couple of cycles.
However, if this result holds up, it will be consistent with recent polling, which indicates pollsters may have fixed their problem.
