I have not seen the arguement laid out yet how everyone paying into one system without insurance middleman in the way would be more expensive then the ■■■■■■ coverage we have now.

That’s true there were 60 fortune 500 companies that didnt pay anything in 2018. Everyone should be paying taxes. We also have very large and very profitable companies that will not pay their employees a living wage, forcing their employees to rely on food steps to live.
The money is out there, but we don’t like change.

Ya western people have less kids as do Japanese because it’s expensive as hell. To raise a child from birth to 18 in America is over 200k now not counting college. It’s not like one day people just couldn’t have a child anymore in the west, no one talks about that they just talk about importing in a bunch of people from the third world who don’t speak the language as if that will help, which in reality it just adds more of a tax purden to them.
what is your evidence for this?
Start with the 43% of American’s who don’t pay any federal tax.
What are the incomes of those 43%?
You all keep leaving out all the people who work now who don’t take their companies health insurance. Or who are not offered health insurance. Than there’s all the people who are self employed who don’t have heath insurance. Than we have all the people who don’t work and don’t pay for health insurance.
Tell me what that number is and whos going to pay for them?
most people get health insurance through their employers. As to the rest, thank obamacare.
False there are a large amount of people in the United States that don’t work. And there’s a large amount of people in the United States that choose not to take their insurance from work. And there are a large amount of people that work that aren’t offer insurance at work.
35.5 percent of the population in the United States are on welfare.
Who’s going to pay for all these people?
And this number does not even count all the illegals that you want to be covered under this plan.
what are you even arguing about? a lot of people who don’t work are on medicare or medicaid. if you choose not to sign up for your employer-sponsored plan or your employer doesn’t offer insurance, sign up for Obamacare.
Where did you get that number from? If people are on some type of government assistance, they likely qualify for medicaid. we are already paying for them.
as to what you think I want, you don’t speak for me.

They still pay FICA and Medicare taxes and those never get returned unless the employer screwed up the withholding, so yes, even those burger flippers on welfare working part time getting all of their federal taxes back would still pay in.

“You’re going to pay a lot of money for that cute little bundle – somewhere around $233,610 by the time the baby turns 18, according to a 2017 Department of Agriculture (USDA) study. Knowing your numbers will allow you to better control your costs. The USDA assumes that you had childcare and education expenses, for example, and the figure cited is for a middle-income married couple with two children.”
