I saw the final installment of the current X-Men franchise Dark Phoenix today, and it was a good film. It’s a little slow, but I liked the darker tone of the film. It may require a second seeing to appreciate it. I do liked some of the performances in the film.
It may not be the best X-Men movie nor the best way to close out its chapter, but it’s still a good picture to see for a matinee fare.
I give it a grade of an B.
