You seem to be stuck on a power dynamic.

I’m not.

I’m a conservative.

You’re not an employer anymore I am.

Go figure. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

No one person identifies with everything one party stands and unifies on! I am more right to center, but never saw the difference between GW Bush and Obama, both had similar foreign policies, both spent us into oblivion, both passed broad sweeping social reform bills, both ignored the border. So it drives me nuts when people say they like bush but not Obama. They were extensions of the same presidency. The same would have gone for McCain and Romney who I was no fan of. There is no difference between blue dogs and rhinos. There is a vast difference from progressives to those who support nationalism. Just my take.

If you say so. Around here the people who aren’t “hard workers” can disappear for hours on end and hardly anybody notices. They also don’t tend to stick around very long. Then there’s guys like me who get bombarded with all kinds of emails asking why stuff isn’t moving or being done. I’ve been here for nearly two years and I’ve already been told my job will be waiting for me when I come back after my contract lapses. I’m also constantly picking up new things whenever I can. I guess that’s the difference between being value added versus someone who’s just collecting a paycheck.

Folks have become sick and tired of politicians who make promises and kick the can down the road.

Double speak, evading questions with indirect answers all while enriching themselves on our (the folks who actually PAY taxes) backs.

While we fund illegals here and treat them better than Americans while at the same time giving millions in foreign aid.

A lot of people are sick and tired of this stupidity.

How about we only give aid to those who use it for the purpose intended. Need to see some progress or you’re cut off.

All for what. A growing and uncontrollable deficit.

To me what Kamala Harris did in Guatemala today is the very thing that irks Americans. Telling the whole world in a meeting with their president that global warming is causing the immigration influx, and that visiting the border is a grand gesture not worth her time, which begs the question, what is worth her time other than redecorating her new crib?

All talk no action, Trump was right! But Romney would be doing exactly what Harris is doing if In her place instead.

I probably wouldn’t work full time, but I’d still work. I can’t stand being out of work. But I’m not average either.

Did any cops cite mental health as a reason they left? If so, I’m with them. Mental health is serious.

I didn’t realize those cops left for mental health reasons. If any of them did… I understand their perspective and hope they resolve their issues.

Mental health is the new term for, “ I can’t cope with reality!”

almost everyone has a therapy dog now. We are a candy you know what society!

You don’t understand the distinction. It’s ok.

She is a laughing stock.

Everyone knows it.

Ya think people are flocking to Florida because of global warming?

I’m sure the number of boomers hitting retirement age has absolutely nothing to do with it either.

It’s sad when foreign countries call you out and blame you for the problem and say your predecessors plan was working and you should go back to it.

You looking for feefees on exit interviews?

Therapy dogs are a hiring pre requisite.

Why don’t you explain it to me?

Explain Feefees.

Feefees are all the toll taxes you pay in Chicago.

It’s even more sad when they have their hand out and accept dollars.

I would argue that posting here is also a failure to cope with reality. We’re all guilty of it, to various degrees, myself certainly included.

The real world and our agency in it is out there, not here.

That’s a left field comment, I assure you most are here for conversations for entertainment value. I don’t have a Facebook or Twitter, escapism does not coincide with needing a therapy dog and being a snow flake.
