Politifact also confirms that to be the case with a nuance as to whether it was done to avoid the subpoena. In my mind that shouldn’t matter. They knew about the subpoena and deleted the emails anyway.

When did Hilary direct the deletion? Before or after the subpoena? Did she even direct the deletion or was it a part of a SLA with the provider of her server administration?

Who is “they”? Is this Hilary or her contracted IT department?

The key point is the 30,000 emails were deleted after her emails were subpoenaed. That is a fact. Twisting yourself into a pretzel to justify that deletion doesn’t change that simple fact.
