Its up to the people to decide who they want to represent them. If Americans decide someone who embraces socialism that is their right. It is up to his opponents to convince the people otherwise.

Outsiders can give their opinions, and can even try to influence the votes of individual NYers. But they really don’t have a say in the election outcome.
NewYorkers deserve the person they vote into office. Any constituency does. NY deserved Giuliani when he was mayor. They deserve Adams now. They will deserve the winner of the next race.
