So you’re saying you support Kushner’s use of a private server being investigated along with his use of WhatsApp to communicate with MBS?

Because in the posts above, you seemed ready to just shrug those off.

Because you don’t actually care about someone mishandling classified material.

Rooting for the home team is more important than that.

Treason in the form of economic misery and the destruction of the middle class.

That seems to be a new crime to hold against a President.

Kind of like it is being made up.

Nobody cares and most wish Trump was back in office.

They are betting on it…literally.

Indeed, on May 24th European bookie Smarkets cut its odds on Trump winning the 2024 election to a new price of +280. To put that into context, he was +1100 to win the next election back in March 2021.

Trump’s impressive odds also come at the expense of Biden. He is currently +580 to secure a second term, and his price has been falling these past few weeks. The reason for this is Biden’s awful opinion polling among Americans. His approval rating hit a record low in May – down to just 39%.

Meanwhile, Biden’s VP Kamala Harris – the assumed successor to the president if he decides not to run in 2024 – has seen her odds expand to +1600. Harris appears to have been sidelined by a Biden administration that is struggling for allies itself right now.

Not true…Smyrna says HE cares about this “two tier system of justice”.

But are you saying going outside controlled government systems to communicate with people on official government business, like Jared Kushner did, or taking away reams of classified documents from the White House to Mar a Lago like Trump did, is perfectly acceptable behavior so long as “more people want Trump as President than Biden”?

Is this what you are saying?

I am a lone voice on this.

Most everyone thinks the economy is fine and middle class is expanding.

The legal challenge could be anything from business ties to China to mental incapacity…pick any you like.

Could also be Ukraine or Russia. The warmongering doesn’t sit well either.

Start with this:

In his conduct as the former Vice President and current President of the United States, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the offices of the Vice Presidency and President of the United States, and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, defend, the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed—Joseph Robinette Biden abused the power of the Office of the Vice President, enabling bribery and other high crimes and misdemeanors, by allowing his son to influence the domestic policy of a foreign nation and accept various benefits—including financial compensation—from foreign nationals in exchange for certain favors

As Vice President, Joseph Biden was the senior Obama Administration official overseeing anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine. Hence, any illegal activity involving corruption conducted by Hunter Biden within or in relation to Ukraine would fall under the purview of the Office of Vice President Biden and the Obama State Department’s anti-corruption efforts. In fact, many State Department officials within the Obama Administration repeatedly registered reservations about Hunter Biden’s role on the board of a corrupt company. Thus, any instances of corruption on behalf of Hunter Biden via his role as a board member of the Ukrainian-operated Burisma energy firm were either not investigated or covered up. The evidence of widespread knowledge, corruption, and collusion on behalf of the Biden family with foreign nationals is clear and compelling.

I am saying your ability to prioritize is sorely lacking.

Oh…. So made up right wing talking points.

I don’t think you can impeach on that.

Democrats impeached Trump on nothing. Zilch. Zero. Nada. Naught.

Less than nothing.

Biden is starving babies by siccing the FDA on formula manufacturers and then pretending he knew nothing.

THAT would make some great articles of impeachment…

The first impeachment was over the use of withholding foreign aid for the promise of an announcement of an investigation of a domestic political rival. It is the use of the power of the office for personal political gain in a corrupt manner.

It is a power that the President has now because the GOP has no spine and no moral compass.

The second impeachment was about a dereliction of duty in a lack of response to the protection of the Capitol when his supporters took part in a violent attack. Since then we have found out that Trump was doing much worse than a dereliction of duty and was using the power of his office to overturn the results of the election that he lost, thus breaking the over 200 year political tradition of peaceful transfer of power.

So there is that.

The election had not been certified. You can’t overturn an election before it is legally certified. Only democrats would try to do that.

The States had certified their electors. Trump
was operating under the bizarre legal theory that the Vice President could reject electors at will. They had even gone so far as to set up slates of fake electors to take the place of the legitimate ones.

This was just the end of a months long pressure campaign to over turn the election all the way up and down the chain of election officials across the country.

But seriously. If they were successful in overturning the election by using a parliamentary procedure that no one accepted as legitimate… what do you think would have happened after that?

I am amused by the final sentence of your post which is the classic I am rubber you are glue defense.

Kudos to that one.

I could have worded that better. Only Democrats would claim that Trump was trying to overturn an election that was not officially an election.

Remember when we heard a phone call to Georgia looking for a specific number of votes and an implied threat of criminal prosecution?

Yeah… me too.

Our laws have instructions for all of that.

In January 2017, Reps. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., Barbara Lee, D-Calif., Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz., Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and Jim McGovern, D-Mass., all objected to electoral votes for Trump. Now nearly all of them have joined the chorus against those who objected to votes for Biden.

Then take that poisoned election and kill energy to run the economy into the ground.

THEN egg on Russia to attack Ukraine…then sell Ukraine weapons.

Yes. That too.
