Not particularly, but that has been the gist of the thread. The merits of the case are immaterial to the political reasons they are being discussed and there is no other reason to discuss them in this thread. You want to keep them in the public eye to hurt Trump’s chance of being elected. I’m saying it won’t change a dingle vote.
And again, I am not a Republican and I’m not a Trump supporter. I am simply pointing out that your © attempts to hurt Trump at the poles in November by beating this drum will have no discernable effect on the outcome of the election.

In politics, timing is everything, and Dems have become the masters of the eleventh-hour surprise. That’s how they got Ted Stevens out of office in 2008; that’s how they almost successfully sabotaged Kavanagh’s SC confirmation; and that’s what they are so desperately trying to do to Trump.

The game is a lengthy one. They started almost as soon as Biden moved into the WH.

Dumb question.
If Trump hadn’t run do you seriously think they’d have even wasted time trying him?
You said it yourself they waited 3 + years in one if these cases. Why were various prosecutors involved in these cases communicating with the White House? Why was there an obvious attempt to stack all four trials on top of each other?
To drain his resources, tie him up in court keeping him off the campaign trail, I’m no lawyer but every analyst I trust is saying this farce in NY dies on appeal. The only reason to resurrect a dead few misdemeanors and turn them into felonies tried in front of a democrat friendly judge in a democrat friendly court was to tie up Biden’s opponent in court, get some kind of conviction before the election so libs could puke up the word “felon” over and over again. By the time this thing is appealed it might be after the election.
Fox released a poll today apparently Biden’s up 2 50-48. After all the lawfare and “convicted of 34 felonies” the best clueless Joe can get is up 2?
Wow…
Let’s be very clear…democrats disgust me. The way the democrats themselves have tried to sabotage our republic with Russia and 51 intelligence guys on Hunter’s laptop, letting the endless flow of illegals in and lying about it, the targeting of political opponents using the legal system…and then the same hypocrites claim “Trump is a threat to the democracy”.
The threat is the Democrat party…God help this country if the Democrat puppet Biden and democrats maintain power for another four years. The damage your people have already done can never be repaired.

If it holds, that is all they need. They will have confirmed that bringing legal cases against your opponents works. In that case, we can expect more of it.

Because this isn’t about justice. This is about elections and more and more people are seeing what the democrats are doing.

I personally am terrified about what this election could bring to our country.

I’m not discussing this issue as a political one. You are. Because you have to. You can’t allow for the fact that perhaps Trump broke the law. Because you are deeply partisan.
Trump will lost likely be our next president. Doesn’t change the fact that he tried to undermine the last election.
You don’t care to admit that obvious reality because you prefer republicans to win.
It will certainly be overturned on appeal.
The Fox polls are further off than even the leftist polls in recent years.
I pay no attention to them.

I didn’t expect your lefty brain to process a word of it.

You are confused. The only remotely political thing I have said is that this issue does not matter for the electorate. And obviously, it does not matter in any other way except as an sign of the state of our degenerated society.
And there you go again with your politicizing of my posts. Caring about who wins the election has not been part of my comments. My preference would be that neither Party’s candidate was running, let alone be elected.

Can you allow for the fact that perhaps there is a strong political motivation behind bringing some of these cases, and a rush to be sure they are finished in time to affect the outcome of the 2024 election?
