Nothing I have said is partisan. I’m only discussing the factual and anecdotal details and what effect they may have among voters of both parties. I am not registered with any political party, I am not beholding to any political party and I am not supporting any political candidate let alone Trump.

The point being, you see this issue as nothing more than something that may or may not affect the election. You can’t discuss the merits of the case because all you care about is how it will affect your preferred party.

The merits of the case are immaterial to the political reasons they are being discussed and there is no other reason to discuss them in this thread. You want to keep them in the public eye to hurt Trump’s chance of being elected. I’m saying it won’t change a dingle vote.

It should have nothing. When it is politically motivated cases Garland is trying to rush to trial through Smith so it will be a conviction before the election, the justice system has everything to do with voting.
Though maybe we should no longer call it justice.

In politics, timing is everything, and Dems have become the masters of the eleventh-hour surprise. That’s how they got Ted Stevens out of office in 2008; that’s how they almost successfully sabotaged Kavanagh’s SC confirmation; and that’s what they are so desperately trying to do to Trump.

If their goal was to lock trump up before the election why did they wait so long to bring up charges?

You said it yourself they waited 3 + years in one if these cases. Why were various prosecutors involved in these cases communicating with the White House? Why was there an obvious attempt to stack all four trials on top of each other?

To drain his resources, tie him up in court keeping him off the campaign trail, I’m no lawyer but every analyst I trust is saying this farce in NY dies on appeal. The only reason to resurrect a dead few misdemeanors and turn them into felonies tried in front of a democrat friendly judge in a democrat friendly court was to tie up Biden’s opponent in court, get some kind of conviction before the election so libs could puke up the word “felon” over and over again. By the time this thing is appealed it might be after the election.

Fox released a poll today apparently Biden’s up 2 50-48. After all the lawfare and “convicted of 34 felonies” the best clueless Joe can get is up 2?

The way the democrats themselves have tried to sabotage our republic with Russia and 51 intelligence guys on Hunter’s laptop, letting the endless flow of illegals in and lying about it, the targeting of political opponents using the legal system…and then the same hypocrites claim “Trump is a threat to the democracy”.

Agreed….the Trump trial that just happened in manhattan was not justice. Bastardization of the system for political purposes is not justice…it’s the opposite.

All of us non lawyers have learned a fun new term…”reversible error”, which apparently dozens were committed by that hack judge who’s daughter has made millions fundraising off of the Trump trial…

I know TNT and Jezcoe and the rest of the libs will accuse me of wearing partisan blinders and I could care less. This trial was designed to give the judge’s daughter something to sell and people like Morning Joe the chance to say the words “convicted felon” a thousand times a week. If Biden God Forbid is re elected I wonder if Bragg will get a nice parting gift?

Thats why it was held where in was held in the courtroom of a Democrat hack….That’s not justice…it’s just another example of the left destroying one of the most crucial institutions in our country in its on going effort to get one guy.

Can you allow for the fact that perhaps there is a strong political motivation behind bringing some of these cases, and a rush to be sure they are finished in time to affect the outcome of the 2024 election?
