Most of us see the strength of our republic reflected in an energetic candidate who is addressing the future of the country, not in a bumbling Alzheimer’s patient who can barely put a sentence together and who’s administration has been marked by lies, the erasure of the southern border, paychecks that buy the average American 20% less than they did 4 years ago, and a sizable number of us look at the politically motivated prosecutions targeting Mr Trump and parents and pastors and see the real threat to our republic.

To be available if the elector choice were to be returned to the states where legislatures decreed them the rightful electors and the federal courts did not get involved.
In other words, if the political and judicial systems agreed with them and appointed them as the real electors.
Which was even more ridiculous than counting selected chads in Florida, and even less likely to work.
