I doubt if either will reside in their districts. Surely Cheney will have nothing to do with Wyoming. Sheâs way to sophisticated, in her mind, for that.
Democrats had a chance to have a more or less credible committee. When they started removing those whom they knew would not go along with the narrative, they blew it. Nothing coming out of that committee is credible now.

They are not overturning anything.
They do see the issue has merit.

They may issue a strongly worded letter or recommend some election challenge revisions at best. It is a bit of admission of some culpability. This should also help some of the J6 trespassers get their sentences reduced or expunged.

Iâd like to hear the arguments bot pro and con. Plaintiffs are challenging the members of Congress who did not address the concerns of around 100 House members and the Constitutional obligation to do so prior to confirmation of the election results Plaintiffs are also asking the court to punish the non action of those members of Congress who did not address those concerns to be prohibited fro running for public office of any kind again. (Never happen).
But again after Plaintiffs arguments, the responses by SCOTUS Justices will be epic.
IF this action in fact takes place I for one want to read or hear it all. Itâs going to be Constitutional interpretation all the way.

it wont be epic. the court will just issue a one line statement saying certiorari is denied.
all that has happened is the case was appealed to the court. the court isnt âholding a hearingâ or any such nonsense.
this happens thousands of times a year and very few cases actually are granted certiorari and have an actual haring
That last part wonât happen. You canât expunge a federal conviction. Only a presidential pardon is available.
But like you said. Nobody is overturning anything.
They should do something for some of the J6 trespassers. Those who quietly walked thru did not deserve nearly 2 years of waiting for a hearing nor the inflated charges and sentences they were hit with.

Which of the ones who were simply trespassing recieved exhorbitant sentences. I am sure some did but which ones? How many?

Too big of a number to assume that someone somewhere along the line did not get shafted.
Criminal Justice system be like that but they donât care. They donât want reform. They want people they like treated fairly. Thatâs about it.
You can see all the charges online. Nobody is there for âjustâ trespassing that I can see.

2016-2022 is 8 years of nothing burgers. The sad part is our govt has locked up hundreds of people without bail and no speedy trial 1/2 the country loves it because itâs all part of the Trump inquisition.
