I didn’t see the hearing but a commentator later asked: “Imagine if the attack on the Capitol had been conducted by a foreign power…do you think the response by the President would have been in any way similar?”

Ignored pleas from his supporters in Congress, his children, his media personalities. They begged like dogs for him to act. They texted from their knees. But the only action Trump took was to have the White House Photographer not to take any pictures.
