Critical Theory (aka Cultural Marxism) —> critical legal theory (more Marxism) —> critical race theory (the Dumb and Dumber more of Marxism)

Actually, quite a lot.

And I was responding to Tzu with that.

everything I don’t like is Marxism, even though I can’t explain how it is Marxism or how it relate to Marxism.
but if I say enough scary words people support me.

Hogwash. You are trying very hard to what-about away from the 'oh, ■■■■ ’ problem of the GOP embrace of palingenesis, nationalism and anti-democracy.

Some obscure legal theory taught in a few colleges has nothing to do with that fascist turn.

Worry about your own political party.

No. Everything that is infected with Marxists Comprehensions is infected with Marxism.

Me, I’m more old school anti-communist.

Communism, btw, shares the underlying assumptions about the primacy of the State, the use of terrors, and the ability of individuals without management as fascism. Makes since because Italian Fascism came out of a disenchantment with the perceived lack of achievements of socialism … but not a total rejection of the underlying meat of it.

Left and Right … that’s just where people sat … there is in no sense that our Founding Fathers, Classic American Liberalism or Adam Smith economics is anywhere at all to be found in the arc of utter crap that is fascism - socialism - communism.

It’s just a self serving lie of the Left that it is, one sustained by endlessly being reiterated.

Whyever would that be something you need to say to anyone?

Republicans now evidence all the hallmarks of ethnic fascism. That’s not a party problem. That’s an everyone problem

Throwing out made up code words doesn’t make it so.

Guys who think talking about the race problems created vy slavery and Jim Crow is Marxism seem very, very invested in not talking about the actual fascism of their peers and fellow travelers.

Fascinating.

that is simply not true.

and there exist no “American Liberalism” left in the world there all dead, the fact Republican still pretend to be anything but a authoritarian Corporatocracy is comical based on how little they care about American or its founding ideals.

This is just one more example of the lefts name calling everyone who disagrees with their socialist agenda as fascist . Basically that took off in the 1960s.
And what do you do when you have identified your political opponents as fascists?
You don’t have to debate them or contest in fair elections. You get to spy on them and criminalize them, and attack them violently.

name calling has been a proud part of politics since caveman.

No.

Nice try.

I don’t need to use some Marxist Comprehension to discuss those things.

But your so-called obscure theory is in fact the cornerstone for much of the Left for which nothing of the old extreme Left is extreme to it anymore. It’s why so many that haven’t changed at all now look like the far Right to you.

no you would just pretend they didn’t exist and claim that minorities perfectly equal in society because Congress passed a bill.

The OP op-ed makes a case. Agree with its conclusions, or disagree, it’s not ‘name calling’.

It is instructive, all the same, that you guys got your feelings hurt.

I’m still here. Others too.

Just because we didn’t go along with the slouching into Gomorrah with the Left and those who fatuously walk away from arguments because they’ve been lost that doesn’t mean we stopped existing.

Let’s try to stay at least close to the original topic: the anti-democratic Republican embrace of fascism.

Sure, it’s intriguing that y’all want to go ‘Marxists made us do it’, but let’s remember that your justifications for fascism are less important than the fascist turn itself.

Yeah. By “limiting” elections to only two weeks the “fascist” threat to democracy continues.
Baby talk. Tantrums.

what about Liberalism in the last decade makes them “Gomorrah”
