Did The One Horse Dog Faced Pony Soldier “create those jobs?”. Some people will justify anything. Give me a break, man.

You’re lost. I didn’t say that.

The 1500 contributed immoderation. The 300,000 contributed…?

Immiseration

Productivity. Are you trying to claim that 300,000 jobs were created because Brandon shutdown Keystone?

Look at that cone I discussed and consider that the bottom line is time. Now take a slice of that cone, which would represent a day and it’s a circle. Now in that day, what happened? There are many, many pebbles hitting the water and you watch the ripples go out. Some pebbles are larger and create bigger ripples. Now you have a ripple coming the opposite direction from something else that happened that day and how did it affect each as they passed? There are almost an infinite number of things happening, each effecting the other to a greater or lessor degree and this is how when I look at it, how it all works.

Not at all. Smyrna is attempting to claim that the inflation in Biden’s first month in office is primarily due to the loss of 1500 Keystone XL jobs in a month when the US had a net gain of 300,000 jobs. Does that make any sense whatsoever?

Then when he tried to explain that those lost 1500 jobs had a negative ripple effect I pointed out that the 300,000 newly employed would have a favorable ripple effect and clearly would drown out the meager 1500, he got silent.

Are you trying to claim that the negative ripple effect of 1500 people losing their jobs is greater than the positive ripple effect of 300,000 getting jobs and that net negative (you imagine) would effect inflation (contrary to what practically every economist believes)?

How many of those 300,000 jobs were in the O&G sector?

How many of the 300k had any potential impact at all on the production of gasoline in this country?

Smyrna and I were taking about inflation so you are distracting. The 1500 lost jobs had no effect on production of gasoline in this country.

I disagree.

I second the notion.

No…

So why did you put forth as evidence the jobs lost from Keystone XL as a reason for early 2021 inflation?

Every aspect contributes…some more…some less…and I gave you one example. The idea was for you to examine it from a high altitude, hence the cone reference but you choose to delve into specifics and that’s a conversation I don’t care to enter.

But job losses actually would reduce inflation, according to economists so you are quite wrong.

Regardless, what’s your next largest Biden action that induced inflation? Let’s explore your thesis.

You still talking narratives and notions?

Look, I understand more in depth discussions of data and how they relate to other data is likely not your cup of tea. Most people don’t like to dig into the data. It makes them uncomfortable.

What if you were flawed?
