The first male Republican politician stands up to Trump, tells the truth about the Mueller report and Barr and receives a standing ovation

i get that Trump voters have to pretend it’s over and the House isn’t planning and (already) performing their jobs (oversight).

just think how maddening it would be to Trump voters if they knew this thing was 10 years from being over (like it is) AND that they sold out their Values to the NY City crook.

It wasn’t up to the special counsel to indict trump per the DOJ, but there’s enough evidence (Volume 2) to convict trump on Obstruction of Justice. Special counsel had indictments which is stated in Volume 1 of the Report. Besides, there are still investigations going on which is part of the redactions in the Report.

I have no clue what you are talking about. There will be no indictments of Trump or anyone else in his campaign. Its over. The ball is now in the House DEMs court.

No dreams on my part.

'“Independent thinker”…??? Aha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha …
A nobody who figured a way to get 5 minutes of fame stands up and says what crazy hysterical Never-Trumpers want to hear and he is an independent thinker???
Tell me genius, where did it get him? Where is he today?
Does anyone even remember his name?
I, a Jo Blow on the street, can create something like that.
My fame just like his would last a few hours.
Plus…every party has a black sheep of the family.
So this Republican-in-name-only is not a surprise at all.

He is a never-Trumper. And not the only one.
Most who retired after Trump won from the House were Never-Trumpers.
THEY gave the house to the Democrats. They were cowards and since cowards come in many shapes one is called Amash.

The issue of healthcare was the biggest reason why the Republicans lost the House to the Democrats. During the last Congress, House Republicans passed a “healthcare” bill that would have taken healthcare coverage away from over 16 million Americans. And there were several House Republicans that ran for reelection and lost such as Dana Rohrabacher.

Taking a public stance against a popular president amongst your own party is pretty much the opposite of what a coward is.

We are talking about people who support a guy making fun of Vietnam POW, or calling a decorated Vietnam marine a traitor so…

Well, that’s obviously the definition of bravery in Trumpworld

Lol.

If Obama hired John Gotti, you wouldn’t care, because Gotti committed his crimes before he worked for Obama…

Nope, some actions were before the Trump campaign, some were during the Trump Campaign.

Note the different data ranges as the quotes come fro different counts. Manafort was part of the Trump campaign beginning in March 2016 and the Campaign Chairman from June to August 2016.

“MANAFORT applied to a second bank, Lender D. Between approximately July 2016 and
January 2017, MANAFORT, with the assistance of GATES, sought and secured approximately
$16,000,000 in two loans from Lender D.”

“On or about and between March 2016 and August 2016, both dates being approximate and
inclusive, in the Eastern District of Virginia and elsewhere, defendants PAUL J. MANAFORT,
JR., and RICHARD W. GATES III did knowingly and intentionally conspire to execute a scheme

Stupid? I can accept that.

so he’s stupid for actually reading the report, seeing that what Mueller found is really bad and having guts (unlike other Republicans) to tell the truth about what Trump and team was found to have done.

do you allow lying in your own family?

The thread title got me thinking - have there been Republican female politicians standing up to Donald before this? I honestly can’t recall hearing about it but it’s early here and I haven’t had my morning shot of caffeine.

usually republican female politicians follow the lead of the men.

Mueller found nothing bad.
If he were sure he HAD something he “would have said so”.
His words.

That’s not what Mueller said.

Mueller said “If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so.”
